The Radix Corporation currently has an opening for a Product Design Engineer. The candidate that fills this position will be responsible for the flawless launch of new products and processes to support production. This role will play a key in the success of the company as they must maintain a vigilance to identify new potential products and technologies for the company.
Requirements:
Candidates will have a BS degree in Industrial Design or Mechanical Design or equivalent.
Detail oriented and extremely organized
Background in injection molding, related mold designs and automated assembly techniques
At least 5 years experience with a proven track record of successful execution in ruggedized design concepts
Experience with design for manufacturing and prototyping
Use of CAD / Experience with SolidWorks
Initiative and ability to follow through on projects
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desired:
Knowledge of schematics and PCB layouts
High skill set to build rapid prototypes for proof of concepts
